Can't find anything right now, but the project was presented at the CBRE/RBC market update breakfast at Fox Creek yesterday morning.

I believe the height is 6 storeys.

this camera has been on the NB Cameras website (which shows over 100 cameras all over NB) FOR a couple weeks.

Theres another appartement building under construction on dieppe boulvard next to the ultramar. I dont know how many storey it will be but they started digging last week

There's a rumour out there now that they are finally going to extend Paul Street southward to intersect Acadie as part of this project? Can anyone confirm?

I believe that in Dieppe Mag, it stated that one of the projects for this year was to finish the College-Gauvin-Acadie road connection, but there wasn't a mention of the Paul street extension.

That said though, I did go past that intersection today and they seem to be doing some ground work for the new road heading towards Paul St. next to the new building site

That's definitely the project they're referring to. Lots of heavy equipment and construction fencing up now directly across from Home Hardware on Acadie. No idea what it will look like though.

I drove by today and it looks like pieces for a crane are being transported on site. By the looks of it, it seems like they're using the crane that was on site a the Hyatt downtown.

Thanks for posting this.

Short answer is no. Dieppe is far more circumspect in what it publishes online in terms of planning matters. They do post agendas and minutes of PAC and city council meetings, but plans and renders are usually not available as part of the information they make public. PAC decisions are usually just posted in point form. It's frustrating.

Moncton and Riverview are much more transparent regarding planning matters...........

So, the new mystery apartment building on Acadie now has a name - Le Promenade Neuf, an homage to the fact that it will lie at the 9 km signpost along the Petitcodiac River Trail. According to the article in the T&T, there will be a website up and running in the next few weeks, so we will soon have additional images and renders to ponder over.

Le Promenade Neuf will easily be nearly as impactful on the Dieppe city skyline as Horizon Place is. If another couple such buildings get built in downtown Dieppe, greater Moncton will have a second skyline in addition to the downtown Moncton skyline.

There has been a sudden change in the type and character of (some) of the new apartment construction in the metro area. Traditionally, the standard build was a four storey vinyl clad wooden box, but things seem to have changed a bit with the recent additions of Horizon Place and FiveFive Queen.

Current apartment projects planned, proposed or under construction include:
1) - Le Promenade Neuf (Dieppe, seven storeys)
2) - Tannery Place South (Moncton downtown, six storeys)
3) - Emma Place (Moncton northwest, six storeys)
4) - Chocolate River Station (Riverview, two 10 storey towers)

This is excellent to see.

Of course there are multiple low rise apartment projects also in the pipeline, and some of those are still vinyl clad boxes, but more and more we are seeing projects with interesting architectural style (like The Kensington in Riverview), and many new projects include amenities like enclosed parking.

Gauvin Road will be closed to motorists between Acadie and Marché this summer.
