it's sad to see Lougheed mall being much busier than Brentwood mall

This is an asinine comment. Brentwood has been a huge construction zone for years. Why would you expect the mall to busy during this time?

It’s sad to see that this poster has such a pathetic life that he/she has nothing better to do than to troll this forum with stupid comments.

Lol don't get me wrong: I'm actually very excited, although there are uncertainties about who is coming in as the luxury anchor retailer in the mall. Is Holt Renfrew the confirmed tenant? I wish it is something totally new and different, and not a Holt Renfrew.

there is nothing new though unless you know someone starting up a department store chain.

Its either Saks, Nordstrom, Holt Renfrew, Hudsons Bay or there are no there department stores in Canada.

Whatever it is its going to be at least 10 years before we can shop at it.

I am betting a year from now we will be able to stroll through it. If we are lucky it will be ready for Christmas.

He has an incomprehensible superiority complex to shill for his floodplains project. I don't think it is selling very well vs. Amazing Brentwood which seems to be flying!

Don't they have some rental component in Towers 1 and 2?
Perhaps that's what they mean.

It can't possibly be tower 3 since that won't be complete at least for another several months.

Alternatively, it could just be that that sign you saw as a holdover or left over from back when they thought the project would be much farther along by now.
They've experienced several delays already in this project that have already pushed back the openings of the mall and towers 1 and 2 and also tower 3's construction.

Grade-A trolling.

And he's not even that good at it, so calling it "grade-A" is probably overselling it.

It's not just this project he trolls but any within the vicinity of his precious Gilmore Place.
Although admittedly, Amazing Brentwood seems to be his favourite target of choice.

You are right.
Looks like it will start coming down within one or two days.
Workers are working on the riser platform today.

Maybe the Westons will bring Selfridges to Canada! That would be amazing.. though it's basically a HR on steroids.

Ron.

Nice! I love me a good water feature. Hopefully the fountain part facing Lougheed will be running soon.

Simons is Canadian. Well, who knows if the owners can bring in overseas stores. Would be refreshing if they do. Printemps? Galleries Lafayette? Isetan? Lotte? YVR did bring in a British brand to add to their portfolio: McArthur Glen Outlet. So it's not impossible.

Months ago, I did mention my wish was a Harrod's and as expected, got summarily shot down.

Major department stores don't open one off stores in a country like Canada, it would be a disaster, from administration to supply chain it just wouldn't work.

If you haven't heard of a store being in Canada or announcing their intention to enter Canada it's a very slim chance they are are coming and a 0% chance they going to be a part of this development.
