Damn..

Also only a quarter of Lincoln Yards would be in that pic. (offtopic) Food for thought.

Was driving in to McCormick on friday from I55 in the morning about 930am, the way the sun was hitting the top of Vista the entire top was a bright shinny gold. It was a sight to behold...couldn't stop for a pic though without crashing.

Fantastic aerial photo. So many new buildings around the Western stop. I walked around that area the other day down Milwaukee and there's so many new buildings that the area was almost unrecognizable from a few years ago.

What an impressive view, Vista is always imposing from any view. Both Vista and NEMA both seem to always hit above their weight, meaning they look taller on the skyline than their actual heights. Maybe its because of their locations and elevations.

Proportions, I'd say.

New tenant lounge opened on the 70th of Aon, I'll definitely be coming back up on a clearer day.

Looks like iRobot won't be that far off if things keep going like this. Also, I just noted that they got the MoMa Tower in NYC in there, even though this was made damned near 20 years ago on the far right lol

There's also some purple in the lighter-colored bands, but I don't see it all the time. I wonder if it's related to amount of sunlight, or temperature, or both?

Direct vs indirect sunlight; sun angle; time of day/year; and cloud cover will all effect the perceived glass color. Add in the varying shades of glass color and thee's another layer of variability. Long story short, this building will be quite chameleon-like.

You may notice some purples if the lighter glass is reflecting colorful sunset/sunrise colors.

Not much glass in this shot from last fall, but you can see the far-left glass reflecting the sky.

Will most of this be covered in glass by end of September? Also, this is about 5-6 floors from being topped out..?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was covered even sooner, but that should be a good guess. I honestly think August is a fair estimate since way more than half is covered if we are talking about square footage + good weather is here to stay for the foreseeable future
