a lot of speculation for the retail. I would like to see a Winners and Shoppers and the collection like you see at every TO subway station.

Anyone know if these will be built sequentially, or in tandem?

My educated guess would be in tandem, or very slightly staggered (perhaps one would start when the other is half-way done). LIUNA has already started pre-construction work without any sales or marketing (to my knowledge) and they have the skills and capital to keep this moving.

Anyone know if they are going to just keep going after demolition is complete, or will they pause for a bit before starting?

I had heard they were going to finish the Lister building first before they started anything on this. Whether they mean that exactly I don't know. Mind you the Lister building is likely close to completion in a month.

That's what I heard as well! But your right, the Lister Building is certainly coming along nicely, should be completed real soon!

Topped out in a month but surely a bit longer for the internal work and final finishings?

I mean, they are pretty close to topping out already, and I am sure they will start on finishings soon. That's also why I'm not sure when they will start, because they closed off Hughson for them, so you would think one the crane and structure work is done they can move to Hughson

I don't think that the city would have agreed on a long term road closure without some assurance that the project was moving quickly into build phase. Here is hoping.

Not the greatest pics, tough site to picture, but they're up-to-date (this afternoon), and there's a shoring rig on site now:

So it looks like this is fully under construction then? Exciting stuff! It’s been hard to tell if it was just demolition or actual construction for a while now. This project is going to make a huge difference to the downtown.

Went by there yesterday and they were still in the process of excavating dirt.
