I don't actually mind the station itself. It's a unique art deco / international hybrid. But it is in the middle of a large office complex built by CN throughout the first half of the 20th century and is pretty much out of sight. And it doesn't help that it's main entrance is a giant 60's elevated parking garage with a shitty McShitty's logo taped on it.

I don't mind it either but it looks like something you'd find in a city the size of Quebec City.

I'm constantly running into tourists wandering around the street trying to find the train station. I know where it is but still have to survey the area to find my way there. The signage/directions are borderline useless. You have to know where to look.

I completely agree with you on this one. Unless you know where it is, it's hard to find.

Oh, it's not my video, but i have always enjoyed that same drive down the Gardiner.

It's hard to decide which direction is better. Coming down the DVP you get glimpses of the skyline in the distance, and then as you turn west onto the Gardiner you get that epic view; but the buildup to the main cluster as you travel along Exhibition Park is more compelling when you're going eastward.

If you're not driving the momentary view of Yonge (16-second mark of the video) is really cool too:
