As seen from Howe and Drake. Looks like the facade over Drake is cantilevering out.

Reddit has some talk of a construction accident at Hornby and Drake.
Looks like maybe a concrete pump boom came down and the sidewalk protection did its job.
No injuries.

Seems to be in the same area as this pic from City of Rain -

If there was somebody walking underneath there, it would have killed them. Damn lucky.

No one would be near or underneath this if it was being lifted, installed or worked on over head (danger tape area below). If it had been a completed work or finish product on the building and fell off, then that would be a different story. Interested to know what this is and what happen.

Biked the Burrard Bridge just the other day and it is clearly visible now. It's going to have a massive impact on the skyline from that vantage point.

I have a feeling this project will be a pleasant surprise and certainly have presence in the skyline. Nice to see the tower starting to rise. So many more floors to go.

Clearly noticing it now from Anchor Point 1 roof deck

It has finally breached Anchor Point 2 for a good view of progress. It's going to tower nicely next to our building. Photo taken on Mar 27.

Thanks for the updates as always guys.

Yeah this is definitely the tower to watch this year.

Next year will be The Stack, Kengo Kumo, and The Butterfly and probably a couple others downtown.

I believe it will be painted white but that is just going by memory from the DP submission.

I went by yesterday and thought the glass looked pretty good in person, blue hued with black frames was a nice contrast.

Thnaks!
The overhanging wall is overbearing, in my view.
Windows in the grid look good. Hopefully not too much spandrel in them.
