That’s a lot of space under construction considering the Old Post Office and Bank of America Tower.
In total, I believe there's something like ~5.8 million sqft of office currently under construction or expected to break ground in the next 12 months.

What a time to be alive! And still we have SOM's 670k sq ft tower right up the block, which is apparently now named "The Porch"; dedicated to soaking up all those glorious views to the east.

I'm not crazy about its name, but that building looks gorgeous. Can't to see it completed!

Has there been any timetable as to when Sterling Yards plans to break ground on this?

I would imagine since they still have to demo the Coyne building we're a ways off, but I love this proposal. If everything proposed for this immediate area gets built, holy cow what a transformation it will be. I can't seem to find any images for the northern SB proposal 360 GRN.

It's basically 333 without the kinetic wall.

I'm really interested to check out the 'mews' when it's done.

We don't see a lot of new mid-block pedestrian alleys connecting two streets these days. So when we do, it always gets me interested....

It’s like a grander Union Way in Portland. I bet it will do very well.

No views to the east if Thor's ziggurat-shaped tower goes forward (which I hope it does). You can't even look down Wayman since it dead-ends at Halsted and 740 Fulton blocks the view.

It seems more like the Porch is aiming for sunbathing by facing south. Directly south are landmarked buildings on Fulton Market, so they've got guaranteed airspace there. Of course, Hoxton Hotel is just south of that, so the views from the mid-level porch will only go so far... but the roof deck will pop up over the top of Hoxton.

Bridgford Foods

I see the Bridgford food plant in the background of the one picture.

Have they finished their move yet?

The Tribune wrote about their move to the south side.

I was wondering if a wrecking ball is imminent for that building.

Fantastic work as always!

Seeing 725 W Randolph next to The Parker shows just how huge that project is going to be. I can't wait!

The shear impact Sterling Bay and now Thor will have on the Kinzie/Green area will be incredible. As in new restaurants, residential, shopping, moving north of W Fulton. There is so much land surrounding the Metra tracks that is begging to be developed. Exciting times!

Looks like Sterling Bay's plans for 300 North Michigan is now a 47 story residential/hotel high rise.

Also mentioned in the article is a proposal for the NW corner of State & Division for a new 11 story, 102 unit + retail building (with 31 parking spaces).
