And I'm thinking, Wow!, but I don't remember that filming here. Turns out it was mostly filmed in Toronto, but, per Wikipedia, "Footage of the skyline and aerial shots, as well as other location work, were filmed in the city of Philadelphia in December 2018 as well."

Grubhub is based in Chicago. This is just a satellite office but still good news. As we've brought up before, there aren't any Google, Facebook, or Amazong satellites based here, so... we'll take it.

This is awesome news. Maybe to your point, if NYC devs can pull something off here, it'll show others that the area is a good investment and we could see a whole ripple effect circulate along the waterfront and Old City.

Semi-off-topic (since it's NYC), but fascinating. Rappelling has become a common method of performing mandatory facade inspections, required every 5 years in NYC for building taller than 6 stories. And many of the inspectors are women and architects.

I know Philly has some requirements for facade inspections as well, although I don't know the frequency off-hand. Are any of the inspections here done by rappelling?

Isn't this related to the Fitler Club in the Aramark bldg? Or is that on 23rd and Ludlow?

So that would be on the Parkway lot at 23rd and Market. Neato.

It sounds like they're looking for a spec office building (though I don't know why; neither of the other two spec office proposals have gotten off the ground) and are trying to wheedle public moneys to fund it ... but they don't have any publicly circulating renders or anything for it.

Neither. 2206-34 Market is the Golden Lake and the adjoining parking lot spanning up to 23rd street.
