The amount of $6000 may not be that large, but it’s the whole principle of, if there’s one mistake it’s gonna cost big time. This is only a case of some wooden balconies, and it’s costing everybody $6000, I can build a good size deck of my own for that kind of money.

I’ve been wondering that myself. Maybe he’s on vacation?

This could be a red flag - that these condo owners are going to get stiffed for very large amounts of money - bringing some of them close to bankruptcy. The biggest downside to condo ownership.

The big hole at FMC campus is filling in nicely. Nice to see parts of it above grade now.
It should start to speed up again with the now warmer weather arriving.

That's a good point. We've heard from Vancouver and Toronto examples relating to glass curtain walls and windows in general. Massive hit when those start failing!

No doubt there is more damage to come. All that water that pooled against the building has caused internal damage....probably mould. The $6000 special assessment is only the beginning.

Nice to have you back, Daemon. Trust you had a great vacation.

Next time you go by the big mansion see if you can tell if an elevator was installed. You posted some pics awhile back that showed a sign from a company that said they install elevators and lifts. If there is one I'd love to know what they plan on using it for.

Glad to hear you were on vacation! Did you not get into the vocational program you were targeting for January after last semester's upgrading? What are you up to now?
