You know San Francisco always makes me wonder. If you live in a tiny apartment, in a bad neighborhood, where the streets are covered with trash and homelessness, you're in heavy debt, and you constantly worry about making rent, does it even matter how much money is in your paycheck? Do you really count as a millionaire when your life is the same as any other working poor?

Perhaps millionaire is a bit of an exaggeration, but that's very much the reality for people making sub-80k in SF.
