I'm being fatuous but I really thought the Empire Landmark Hotel was the ugliest building downtown and even though it's being replaced by something generic in it's place, I think we have a decent amount of exciting unique buildings going up downtown to make up for it (the butterfly, Vancouver house, etc). |
Ever heard of renovation and recladding? No point wasting a good structure.
