To be fair, that's a pretty creative way to breathe new life into a couple of abandoned grain silos.

Park Sqaure is Edmonton’s contribution to the ketchup and mustard style.

Shoppers' Dog Fart HQ is extremely banal. 70s poo-poo bad. I know that building...on the 401 at the DVP.

In Quebec, Jean-Coutu's (big pharmacy chain) are every bit as obnoxious.

I have only been into a Jean-Contu once in my life, I remember it being every bit as horrid as your standard Shoppers Drug Mart.

If we’re going to talk shitty big box stores this house of horrors warrants mention.

Always messy and hard to navigate, always has that ear piercing alarm sound going off, always soulcrushing.

Worst grocery store is either this.

Or this.

I’m leaning towards Superstore though because Walmart is more of a department store.

Wow. That has to be top 3 worst in Edmonton along with that weird blue glass mansard hotel and obviously the Venetian. Are they gearing it towards chinese renters?

You Mean This?

As For Park Square. It is truly an awful building. Believe it or not its even worse viewing it from street level .

Speaking of bad street level interaction in Edmonton, the way the Chateau Lacombe meets the street is abysmal. Just a wall of endless parking.

The Chateau Lacombe Itself is a pretty good contender for this thread, I have nicknamed it the barber pole for relatively obvious reasons.

What is going on in that section of Edmonton anyway? Just chaotic urban planning.

Edmonton is an untapped goldmine. For example, their version of The Scotiabank Theatre is 500 Times worse than the other three.

The sad part is it adds some colour to the dystopian landscape that is the West Edmonton Mall.

Yeah the urban planning is atrocious. Heres the third building in what I have officially dubbed the terrible trio.

Sadly enough I had to go to Michael's yesterday. It was not a good experience.
