New map shows dotted blue lines indicating future LRT extensions including the alignment decided on in the Kanata EA. Also has Barrhaven... and Gatineau!
Edit: Does this make Gatineau "officially" part of the Stage 3 plan?

Ottawa' showing the Trillium cross into Gatineau while Gatineau is proposing to cross their future network at both PoW and Alexandra.

Both cities need to get their act together and discuss who's system will cross which bridge(s).

It's not useless. If we didn't have this in place 1st we'd never have gotten funding at all. Plus Tunney's isn't nowhere, it's a pretty big employment area.

I'm not impressed with the people working on our LRT projects at the City. They under-estimated the cost of Stage 1 by $400 million and blew the budget even worse this time around. And that's with the cheapest Confederation bidder. Will they be doing shoddy-ass work to stay within budget?

It looks like South Keys station will work the way I thought with the airport shuttle arriving on the west side. A little awkward with two way busway, two way Trillium Line and airport shuttle lined up next to each other.

Are they relocating Walkley Station? The picture has it next to a pedestrian overpass, which is presumably Walkley Road. The original plan had adjacent to a condo a fair distance to the south of Walkley.

Those renders don't include adjacent buildings (just look at Bayview). The overpass in the picture is just a poor rendering of the existing overpass over the tracks right next to the condos. That is, unless it's rebuilt (which wasn't part of the plan).

Wow! We are shutting the Trillium Line down for over 2 years, and we still don't get double tracking. This is just incredible.

It makes 2006 look like a steal considering what it was going to accomplish.

The pedestrian walkway would be linked to the Trinity developments. It was included in some of their renders IIRC.
