What an absolute monster! In the case of the Mariott and apartment tower, I find the design to be acceptable, though meager for a "landmark tower". I still enjoy the build as is, even with the awkward balconies....though it may look better as construction progresses.

Many forumers hate balconies for all the reasons they don't look good on the Legends tower. The only pro is that they are inset. That doesn't make up for irregular sizes and placements.

It's a Top Ten lister and second tallest in Edmonton. In my opinion, towers of this mangitude anywhere deserve further scruntiny than the usual approval because a developer has set a new height standard. I see it with the evolution of the Toronto skyline when viewed from the lake. Most acknowledge it's blander now that a sea of glass condo towers have blocked out the CBD including among those that place height on a pedestal.

I really like the JW Marriott in Edmonton. I think it turned out great and standouts out in a great way in the city. Its the kind of project Edmonton really needed IMO.

I wish it was a little more consistent on the broad sides. The last pic shows the mix of colours which imo takes away from the flatiron design. Not much a developer can do about the curtains in the units though.

I was expecting 300 Front. It's hard to criticize what we got. The venting in the curtain wall bothers me the most. It's disrupts the smoothness of the curtain wall
