I am so sorry about not posting images on the thread. Most of these posts are from my phone and I just started using this account so I’m not really sure how to post images (and if you look at some of my earlier posts I have tried). As for if it’s a virus or not I can assure you it is not, it is an actual link from blogto. Here’s the article it was attached to. If you copy the link and paste it into the search bar the same platform comes up. So I can 120% assure you there is no virus, have a nice day .

It's not that difficult to actually post a photo from another website. Right click on the image and get the photos URL (procedure depends on whether you're using Windows or Mac), copy the URL and paste it into your post, making sure you enclose the URL between [img] and [/img]

Clicking on a link that automatically downloads something without warning is not cool.

It downloads something? I wasn’t aware. I am so sorry about that.

The inside is depressing, but due to its path stop it is very far from dead. It’s main tenants are Cineplex and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Those giant posters are terrible. Especially the public service ones, or Winners, or something equally Lame-o like "The Keg". It sure ain't Times Square. Sorry to say, because I love the idea of our own Piccadilly Circus/Times Square, but they missed the mark with Dundas Sq

I edited your image tags so that they appear correctly. You are also supposed to provide links so that others can navigate back to the pages that the images came from.

Thank you very much, how exactly did you do that anyway? I’ll try to keep that in mind .

Dude - it's not hard to post a picture

To post images in the forum they must be hosted on a website and then properly formatted into your post. Images residing only on your computer can't be posted or uploaded to the forum unless they are put online.

Websites where you can host images are PostImage, ImageShack, and Flickr. If you have images on your computer and want to post them in the forum then use one of these websites to host the images. If the images you want to post are already online then there is no need to do this.

Get The Image's URL

When the image you wish to post in the forum is properly hosted on a website then you need to get the URL of the image. The URL of the image is the exact web address which the image can be found at. Don't mistake the URL of the webpage the image appears on for the URL of the image.

To get the URL of an image do this:
- in Chrome: right-click on the image and select "Copy image address"
- in Firefox: right-click on the image and select "Copy Image Location"
- in Internet Explorer: right-click on the image, select "Properties", highlight the Address field and press Ctrl+C

After this the image URL will be held in your computers clipboard.

This is an example of an image URL: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/page/images/skyline.jpg

Post Image Using IMG Tag
Now you are ready to put the image into your post. Use the IMG tag to do this. You can also click the button which is available above the text area when you write your post. Press Ctrl+V to paste the URL from the clipboard.

The image URL must be enclosed by the IMG tag like this:
[img]http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/page/images/skyline.jpg[/img]
It is also necessary to properly credit the source of the images that you post. The image we are using here comes from the National Institutes of Health via Wikipedia (link) so we state them as the source.

The final result is:

Source: National Institutes of Health via Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Ne...llerCenter.jpg

Behold Edmonton's Butter Dome!!!

The bucket shaped building next to it is equally ugly:

Edit: I knew it looked familiar!

The bucket reminds me of some of the uglier additions to SAIT:

The bucket building at UofA isn't kitschy like the other examples. The design is functional because it's the Wilson Climbing Centre, and it's full of climbing walls.
