I would like, one day to see an entire page filled with a skyline from each province.

Nice to see Kelowna represented, but the skyline appears as though it hasn't changed much since I lived there in the early 90s. (I know there are numerous new buildings, as I have been back numerous times since moving away, but you almost wouldn't know it from a distance even though the city is probably double the size it was when I lived there).

Crazy to think that within that cluster there's still a dozen towers from 120m+ proposed. And then you factor in the filler projects and it's at least 20 in total, just insane, I love it.

While downtown has seen some more development since that photo was taken (most notably a 27 story tower was added),a good amount of the high rise development in the city in the past decade or so has been outside of downtown. Fear not though, there are three highrises UC downtown that will added a 12 storey, 21 storey and 31 storey building. There are another 3 (one that is 37 storeys) either approved, in sales or getting prepped.

The most exciting building about to get built won't be downtown though. A 24 storey office building is set to start this spring, but it will be in the Landmark business district.

Beautiful Calgary and Kelowna images. The hues in the image really reflect well in the composition, and make the respective communities look favourable.

Man, the Bow is still my favourite office tower in the country, looks great in that 3rd pic Chad posted!

I prefer the simplicity of Brookfield Place to the bow. Neither of which are my favorite office buildings in the country. Perhaps if just talking about new ones I'd put them in the top 5.

I also am a big fan of Brookfield. The bow doesn’t resonate with me like most people. Telus sky however is very cool.

I am a fairly big fan of both. However, The Bow is very unique which gives it a significant edge, and Brookfield's crown lighting being a major disappointment in the end just has tarnished the whole thing for me. On the ground, Brookfield, along with its plaza and galleria, is really quite elegant and impressive though.

The Bow could have been number one had they stuck with the original plans with the gardens and sky pods. For me it was a bit of a let down. But it is in my top 5 of new Office towers, but doesn't crack my top 10 list overall.
