While downtown has seen some more development since that photo was taken (most notably a 27 story tower was added),a good amount of the high rise development in the city in the past decade or so has been outside of downtown. Fear not though, there are three highrises UC downtown that will added a 12 storey, 21 storey and 31 storey building. There are another 3 (one that is 37 storeys) either approved, in sales or getting prepped.
The most exciting building about to get built won't be downtown though. A 24 storey office building is set to start this spring, but it will be in the Landmark business district.
