The hotel portion (up through 12th floor) which has changed ownership, is being entirely redesigned. All the brand new MEPs have to be demolished. New plans are coming out for the space and all the work that's already installed has to go. Absolutely insane.
Work has been slow going the last week with the weather getting worse. Tuesday or Wednesday, they clocked the wind speed on 70th floor at 80 MPH. It was 15mph on the ground. They had a piece of formwork collapse inward. Smashed a whole bunch of gangboxes and equipment.  |
