I agree. If it is affordable housing, then it should be in the north end somewhere off Granville St., close to the shopping district, schools and the hospital.
Affordable housing does not belong on the waterfront, next to the tourist infrastructure, especially when it is a butt-ugly building.
This is a definite fail as far as I'm concerned.
