Women is the operative word. The female driver who ended up being shot and killed was pinned a female officer with her vehicle, leaving another officer with no choice but to use force swiftly. Of course, more details may come out in the review.
I'm curious what she was high on. Apparently even a couple hours after the police chose not to chase, she was still making random U-turns and driving against traffic.
