I think in another 5-10 years Edmonton's skyline could potentially be compared to that of Calgary's but it's not quite there yet, but as mentioned above, Edmonton is certainly on it's merry way.

Edmonton doesn't have the "Bulky" office towers that Calgary has. Also, Calgary has these Twins, Triplets of the same buildings....ie: Bankers Hall, which I like but would would have been better as one building or a single taller building. Edmonton's way ahead of Calgary when it comes to "Mixed Use" developments. I like the tall slender towers it has.

Winnipeg looks great. Good mix of historic, mid-century and modern. Very impressive for a city its size. Looks bigger than what it is. I think it's the first time I see the skateway from above.

Calgary is well ahead of Edmonton with regards to towers in their core, but our top of bank certainly helps and the vast majority of the next cycle or two of projects are north of Jasper Avenue to help give us the girth that we are missing from a linear top of bank skyline form.

I wonder if the Hollywood sign is the OG of city name signs.

However, it originally said "Hollywoodland" and was meant to advertise a real estate development of the same name.

In Edmonton right now, damn does Stantec tower above the rest of downtown! Looks great driving in on Gateway, first time I saw the skyline from Leduc.

View from my co-worker's condo. It's not all that great, especially since he can view the very corner of the office building where his desk is. Though that makes for a very short commute. Another co-worker lived in that colourful building in the forefront until she retired and moved to Cobourg.

At least he has a sliver sized view of the water!

The amount of layers downtown Montreal has is insane and rare in cities, I love the density as well. Also from this angle, imagine when BN, VSLP, Maestria and Phillips Square project take shape? you'll see multiple towers more than 190 metres, excluding Maestria (168m). Gonna be absolutely awesome to witness if all goes through
