They weren't wrong. It would have been the tallest. This one was never marketed as the tallest in Canada and is the tallest of all proposals (not including visions) for the Signature site. The tallest twin is 75 metres than the any other block. Personally, it's too tall considering the shorter twin is also 50 metres taller than any other block.

Drilling of "Mega Caissons" Imminent at Site of Mizrahi's The One

A Bauer BG 55 (BS 115) rig is now in place at the base of the pit. This rig will use its enormous drill bit to bore out the large caissons. Once drilled, large rebar cages—each weighing 40 metric tonnes—will be lowered into the boreholes and filled with 378 cubic metres of concrete.

Cool update... I am finding it harder and harder to get excited about any single project (The One /CIBC are the exceptions) because my excitment is shifting to seeing the impact of all these multiple tower projects will impact the skyline and cityscape. Downtown Toronto will in the future have a New York (Manhattan) lite feel I suppose. Or Bladerunner.

Cal, is it replacing the bus terminal on Bay or the GO bus terminal behind the Public Service Commission Building....or both? Pardon me for my ignorance on the subject.

That's some intricate steelwork on the top of Telus Sky! That's also one picture where the mountains probably looked much better in person, usually on here it's the other way around lol.

The bus terminal north of Bay and Dundas is staying, but the GO bus terminal is going to be redeveloped for the second phase of the Bay Park Centre project.

Thanks, that makes sense. Though that Bay Bus Terminal is such a mess and it's located in the worse possible location. Too bad they couldn't have combined them.
