Speaking of Brightline, they have entered a strategic partnership and trademark licensing agreement with the Virgin Group and will become "Virgin Trains USA." I wonder if the Virgin Group would be interested in investing in VIA's HFR plan?

What do you mean by "non-aerodynamic Charger design?" The Charger seems rather aerodynamic to me. This is the first I have heard of Amtrack ordering cab cars from Siemens, do you have more information? I always assumed via would do like
Brigthline Virgin Trains USA and have a locomotive at each end.
