Telus Sky is looking great. Glad to see them finally finishing the top part of the tower.

Groundbreaking for this east village project is December 12th. We've talked about it before. Called "Platform", it includes 508 parking stalls and over 50K sf of innovation space on 9 Avenue SE at 3 Street SE.

CMLC has been doing well with its projects.

It looks to be steel framing on the top floors of the tower.

The key to these kinds of photos is not to zoom in. You'd be better taking the pic with less zoom even though the buildings will be smaller.

I don't think that should be a categorical statement, rather, the key to taking photos without a real camera and without the option of good quality optical zoom, is to not zoom in. In this case with Daemon, you are correct that he is better off not zooming and not taking pictures in difficult lighting conditions - because he doesn't have a real camera.

Previously I've suggested to Daemon that he may want to look into a modest real camera given his interest, and even searched out basic photography courses at his high school, but unfortunately, no traction.

Calgary’s BMO Centre expansion plans now front and centre with new funding model

By Doug Vaessen
Reporter Global News

Calgary city council will soon see a plan to move forward with the BMO Centre expansion. All three levels of government need to come on board, but a funding model that could add hundreds of millions of dollars worth of jobs to the city is now in place for the mega project.

This is something that should have been done ages ago. Hopefully the feds don't screw us over again.
