Interesting article on OCS today. They still list the height at 1,011' and I guess JDL and Sterling Bay are choosing to use the address 740 N State instead of 1 West Chicago or One Chicago Square.
I can't speak to the validity of this article but the editor usually does a pretty good job.
^He's working off of outdated info. There are 824 units total and the heights and number of floors in the title of this thread are current. Of those units, 76 are condos and 296 are apts in the tall tower. 391 are apts in the short tower and there are another 61 units in the podium.
Has the design stayed pretty much exactly the same with the height reduction or is it fatter?
Because it was basically perfect the way it was. This building is so sleek and good looking
Would we say this is neo/modern art deco or does another style fit better?

I forget that 1 West Superior is right up against the building. That should ruin the view looking south view for anyone with an apartment not high enough.
