This is possibly a silly question, but I'm wondering if there is any precedent that would allow for a two level semi-detached (IE duplex) to be 25/75, where the ground floors of both sides A and B are equal, but the second level is fully on of the two sides? When one thinks of mother-in-law suites, or a guest suite, or even a revenue unit, you can see why this could make sense for the owner(s). With a cumulative 1500sf footprint, it would make one side 750sf and the other side 2250sf.
