Which is ridiculous, it only enables and normalizes self and socially destructive behaviors. I'm not really sure what they are advocating for, is it something along the lines of the right to die on your own terms while concurrently destroying everything around you? The whole condo tower edge lighting looks blotchy still, I think they just gave up on it. What a mess that's gonna be as the individual LEDs slowly die off...

The edge lighting along residential tower edges has been dimmed down so much that I couldn't tell if it was on when driving downtown Cambie. Only once I was on the Downtown end of Cambie Street Bridge, I could tell it's indeed lit. So disappointing.

On the positive note, One Pacific LED lines look great!

Yeah, could barely see it over the weekend - and like you, only when you got to the downtown side of the bridge.

I never really followed this project closely, but it seems like it's been under construction for my entire adult life life lol. They're always fucking with one side of the building.

Westbank doesn't have a lot of expereince as an office developer.
(just the office part of Shaw Tower?)

Then there's all the gee-whiz components added to the building that are onerous to maintain.

Maybe that's one of the reasons Westbank unloaded it.

That means there is only 7-indoor seating space for this upscale wine bar, and 17 folks freezing out in the cold?

Should have added a lot more retail space in the alley during the design stage. So dumb not to do so. They also need to make the alleyway a lot more attractive to attract patrons to sit there. No one wants to pay a hefty bill to sip wine and stare at grey walls and a couple of coloured hanging lanterns. Can't even people-watch as hardly anyone enters there. Last but not least, they need to ban service vehicles or dumpsters from ever entering and parking there for long hours.

"Shortcut" - I do not think they understand what that word means - it'll only be a shortcut if you're going from the middle of that block to the middle of the other end. Otherwise it's just an alternate route on a grid pattern.
