I think you mean tape worm - matching Nematode on the other side of the park.

What a town. It's time to cover those tracks and make a lovely promenade.

Can someone do a quick photoshop of what the park would look like if the tracks were covered up?

Yeah, his name is Ken G. Quit buying dinosaurs and bike trails and lets build a "full" park.

That park is already amazing. I would kill for something like it in Detroit. I think the tracks kind of give it character and link it to the sites history.

And how do you intend on paying for this subjective alteration to the park?

Maybe it is just because I only make it over to see Vista when it is overcast, but the glass reads much more blue than green in person. It looks very reflective/shimmery in a way that the photos don't really pick up too - so you see the green undertone in different amounts depending on your viewing angle.

Completely agree. The railroads are part of Chicago history and create an incredible juxtaposition against our shiny parks and skyscrapers. I’d rather see something happen with Columbus drive

I take it those holes in the side of the building will be balconies?

That's awesome. Imagine being over 1,100 feet up on a balcony overlooking Chicago.

I do t think very many hotels have balconies for a reason

The top floors are to be condos

And the lower levels hotel units without balconies unless someone more wide says otherwise

I'm "United Brotherhood of Carpenters" and I know a lot of Pipefitters and Ironworkers. I don't hear about any shortages, we have millions in the skilled trades. Boomers would descend on Chicago from everywhere. Guys negotiate per diem and other perks on top of the national/local agreements and so forth. There'd be no shortage of workers to keep with demand in a case like Amazon. Chicago is second only to New York nationally in compensation but cost of living offsets the difference. Guys would drag up left and right to make Chicago money.

Thank your four you inside knowledge on this point but I did say skilled construction workers would get OT

And way above the stated wage btw

Saturday November 3rd

I shot a client project in the 'burbs, but added a quick detour (not on my client's dime if you're wondering, ha) for a few orbits around Vista before heading back to the heliport.
