Requirements for taking the Apprenticeship Aptitude Test:


•Birth Certificate


•Social Security Card


•High School Diploma / GED


•Drivers License


•Non refundable Test Fee


You must pass a drug screening. / You must have reliable transportation.

Apprenticeship

All Apprentice Glaziers must be able to lift 70lbs consistently.

And MUST NOT BE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS.





If you click on their PDF benefits which I can't seem to copy for some reason

The hourly rate is $43.83/hr

Total hourly benefits are $80.23/hr + $5 dollars a day regardless where you work.



I figure most of all of the construction jobs are getting above normal wages working downtown and offer OT or even more on weekends.


I think that this one Union website alone speaks volumes for the shortage of skilled [ talent ] construction workers in general. Now imagine a HQ2.

Chicago would have to hire outside the region to get enough talent to build as much as needed as fast as needed.
