I'm in the same boat. I was hoping to skip class, but I now have something due next week, and the prof has threatened that next week's class is something can't-miss important, so I don't think it will happen.

I do hope we can do this on a more regular schedule though. The last one to my knowledge was summer 2017, so maybe next summer would be good again.

We should try to have quarterly meetings and keep it consistent. For example first Thursday of months w, x, y and z.
