They'll be 600 feet tall, taller than the triangular twin towers across the street; should top out middle 2019, with completion in late '19 or early '20. In metro (non-downtown) thread like the dude says. Pics there show it is beginning to rise. Should move pretty fast, a floor a week???
I'm pretty confident the DTLA boom can continue (at a slower pace perhaps) even with the pullback in Chinese money. A recession would reduce activity, but probably not for long. The housing (if not office) shortage is just too huge, and the Olympics in '28 will spur activity. More affordable middle income units would be nice, although rising building costs make that difficult to pencil out. Government subsidies would help.
