Not much to say other than whatever was there before has been demolished. I don't recall if this is east or west of McDonalds (which is still there).

There's one obvious thing being constructed though which is the student accommodation. Last I saw not much had happened beyond site clearance.

There are a few cranes in the area. It would help to give more info in the question.

He could be mixing it up with the cancer centre, it's in the Banff Trail area.

FWIW I didn't think the first pic was chauvinistic. The woman in the pic was purposefully modeling her her body and image, it's not like you took a random pic of someone and was making fun of it.
