On par with most of the pics in here lately, same pics every day from the same location taken with a potato.

LOL! Yeah that's a good point. We have lots of "regular" things opening on a monthly basis. Never think of it a big deal to post on the thread.

Apparently the Canadian Tire Corporation has over 1,700 stores in Canada, of which 500 are Canadian Tire stores. Apparently, 90 percent of all Canadians live within a 15-minutes of one. The Beltline and Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut were part of the 10%

I'm assuming that if this Canadian Tire doesn't cater to cars, there is no garage, and they are only selling half of the products they normally sell. Didn't you guys always have a corner store, or did Crack Macs become a Circle K. Oh wait, that wasn't Beltline. So this does fill a niche.

I went and checked out the new Canadian Tire in the Beltline yesterday. It is definitely going to be a positive addition to the area. I was surprised to see how busy the store was already considering it hasn't even officially opened.

I also strolled down 17th to take a look at how the construction work was taking shape. I was surprised at how narrow the new sidewalks are east of 4th Street. I don't know if the plan is for new buildings to add to the sidewalks along the property line or not but at the moment it's tough for 2 people to pass each other next to the trees and in fact the trees already have a bunch of branches snapped off at shoulder height. It definitely left me scratching my head at what the city is thinking with this project.

Actually it’s more like 5 minutes away from where I live, and no, I don’t live anywhere near the inner city. I also have a Home Depot and a slew of other stores that are five minutes away. Stores that you can’t find in the Beltline.

Everything is 5-7 minutes for me. If I shopped at save on foods it would be less but I shop at co-op so it takes a few more minutes to get there. Everything in my truck.

Suburbia, not sure if your response to my post was directed at me but I live outside the city so certainly no crack macs for me lol
