I am not counting weekend work as full construction days.

Sand is being placed in the Dundas & Talbot intersection

They did say sometime back the Talbot intersection would be open first, so they must be planning to brick it and then move west along Dundas.

Sorry I screwed up the question. I was thinking that was Ridout but it`s Talbot. So I`ll try this again...……………...are the widened sidewalks taking up parking spots and if so are they putting in 2 lanes in one-direction or one lane in both?

The renderings on dundasplace.ca show parking, although I don't know if it will be the same amount as now. Dundas, when it's open to traffic, will be a lane in each direction as it was before.

Talbot st will open this coming Wednesday, the 17th, to traffic in both directions. At the same time, Richmond will be closed at Dundas in both directions until the end of the construction season. Dundas and Richmond intersection will be paved with asphalt for the winter and then the concrete and brick will be added next spring during phase 2. Work is supposed to be going 24/6 (Sundays off) until the end of the season.

I agree. I was really having trouble picturing what they were going to actually do. I'm glad for the flower boxes and light standards though because I don't think the concrete curb being flush with the pavers would be enough to show people where the roadway is. I am a but surprised that there isn't a straight line of one shade of bricks running down the centre of the road as a dividing line though. I think some people might have a drifting problem across the centre of the road.

Renderings show a yellow line painted on the bricks, at least near intersections.
