I see the Scotiabank logo is up along the north side now. I'm guessing they'll do the south side today as well?

They put the swing stage and scaffolding back up last week or maybe the week before, on the south side over the church. Looks ready to put the signage up, but no action today. Seeing as workers typically leave site at 3:00pm, I'd bet it will be next week.

I heard that Starbucks is going to be going in TNS, can't confirm that 100% though. Still seems odd they'd close the other location way before opening a new one.

Why is Scotia's sign on the North Face, where it's always in shade and blocked by the taller tower?

^ Based on the renderings and the space roughed in for signage, it appears that one will also go on the south side as well.

There will be a large sign that reads Scotiabank on the south side. North side is just the logo I think?

They're have a swing stage and scaffolding up for a couple weeks now in prep. Still no sign of the sign. ha

Makes sense, but I thought the east and west sides need them more anyway, since that's all the Portage traffic

It's too bad they didn't open up the north side of cityplace with windows (like old CV office) to have an open, airy feeling drawing people into TNS.

That would go a really long way to making hargrave more inviting and would really make a nice visual cue for those walking towards tns

Geotech work should have been done LONG ago if actual construction is imminent.

Geotech - design - drawings - submit to City - review period - permit - start construction.

Weren't they doing test holes at each caisson for TNS while they were doing excavation and shoring? Confirming bedrock depth and condition? Would seem to be a similar timeline here maybe. I don't know. How imminent is actual construction beyond the fall timeline we've heard?
