Beautiful sky over Edmonton indeed ! Awesome Toronto pictures too.


Here's Montréal, from Peel basin (Lachine canal). Griffintown in the foreground.
This view will continue to change, with the 200m Victoria-sur-le-Parc and National Bank headquarters right next to the Bourse tower, and the developments around TDC1 and 2.

That's one of the best angles of Montreal I've seen, makes the skyline look bigger than most pics.

Some of my neighbours have rooftop patios, but they rarely use them ; I see them up there once or twice per year. I think it's because it gets too hot up there. Montrealers typically prefer to be close to water (fountains, lakes, rivers, etc) and stay in the shades in the summer.

Pretty much every project in Griffintown has a rooftop patio, but they are popular because of the pool. Les enfants terribles is a restaurant.
