The only relocation I remember for 500 jobs is the Starbucks HQ....any thoughts?

Starbucks brews up 500 jobs for metro Atlanta with new operations hub
It could be. On the other hand "an active attraction" sounds like a rather specific and unusual description for an operations center.

“We know that it’s possible that the sale of the Gulch property by Norfolk Southern railroad will lead to their potential relocation of their headquarters to Georgia,” he said. “They want to dispose of their assets in the Gulch as a precondition.”

The company’s search is said to focus on Midtown, where it has scouted a development site near the former AT&T Midtown campus. The real estate publication Bisnow recently reported that the site, known as 3rd & Ponce, is under contract to a pair of undisclosed buyers.

I'm certain they could have found a way to make their FAR higher if they really wanted to pursue this. It's also worth noting this parcel doesn't have a maximum height limit since it's in sub-area 1 of the Midtown SPI 16.

The maximum density in SPI-16 is capped at 10.2 FAR. The only exception to this is via the
provision of certain bonuses for Affordable Housing, Buried Parking, or Public Park, or via a
special use permit for the transfer of development rights (TDR).

Does anyone have any idea why the Anthem tower is a full year behind schedule?

According to an AJC article, it’s supposed to open in 2020, so I don’t think it’s behind at all.

I've seen multiple articles in ABC and Curbed that have stated it was a year behind. I agree that it doesn't seem behind, but not sure why it keeps getting reported.

Couldn't agree more. That corner deserves statement-making architecture. NEITHER of those designs comes close to fitting the bill.

The unprovoked hostility completely baffles me, which is why I'm ignoring it and will not respond to it .
