Those are great images SherrifPaul. but if I'm not mistaken, we've seen them here before.

And please slow down.....it's waaay too many at once. (especially for photographs that are unrelated to one another)

It depends on the typeface, but the period in the default font is square. If you want a circular period, try something like Garamond: .

The answer to both of your questions is yes. Here's another view of the same image (c. 1924?), with 200 Montreal Street circled.
The LA County Assessor says 200 Montreal was built in 1912 [UPDATE -- After a little more poking around, I think the home may
have been built as early as 1904. One source is T. O. McCoye's Playa del Rey by Arthur Bradley Fowler (2013), which says the home
was designed by A. W. Eager in 1904]:

Sadly, long gone even the first time I went to Catalina in the late 50's, e_r. But some of the rusty machinery was still scattered about in the underbrush (and probably is still there!).

But I do still have that very sailor's cap.

It doesn't fit any more.

The Playa del Rey Incline Railway seems to have been built during the second half of 1905. I couldn't find any other information on it.

Here's part of an ad for PDR from the August 6, 1905, Los Angeles Times that mentions the incline RR is being built:
