Well, that would certainly fit the description of ALC.
Nobody on the forum really knows who won the naming rights. We're only speculating about ALC because they are sponsoring the plaza activities during the grand opening celebrations.
One thing that worries me about ALC is whether securing naming rights for an arena fits in with their advertising mandate as a public corporation serving all four Atlantic provinces. I mean, would NL or NS be happy to see ALC spending millions for naming rights on an arena in NB? - even if their head office is only a block away? I'm not so sure.........
If it's a local company that no one is expecting, and it is not an Irving corporate entity, then there is one other potential company whose name I'd like to throw in the ring -
Armour Transportation. They are good corporate citizens, and I could see them doing it.
I also like the sound of
Armour Centre - sounds nice and strong.
