The crown is not done yet, at least according to their newsletter construction update. "We expect to see it finalized soon", it says.

Thank God. I was worried that final row was just going to chill up there as is forever and look weird.

Remember when the Fairmont was going to be so dominant in our skyline? And now it just peeks it's antenna out from behind all the other buildings, at that angle anyway. Thank you Urbannizer for always keeping us up to date with the awesome photos, whether you take them or find them.

Those are some interesting shots and angles. I guess from certain vantage points it really is an interesting design. I still don't like that bread tray extension way up on the eastern side of the building. Is that a pool area or open terrace. Anybody know?

I can't wait for the crown to be finished. That little row is driving me nuts up there. Any word on lighting testing or lighting in general?

It's down. And that top level of the screen still looks unfinished.

Maybe this has already bee discussed. I can see in many reneders where the top of the screen is completed. But in this one, it sure seems to show that what is in place now is the final.

Yes, this looks like a proper 3D model used in CAD, and it shows the crown in the current state:

I'm probably the only one that thinks so, but to me the crown looks unfinished and unattractive right now. I love the overall look of this building though, so hopefully it'll all look great and intentional once the building is complete.

The crane was in full operation today from it's now-lower location, which is pretty much exactly at the 44th floor's floor plate.
