IMO, appears to be the least intriguing design proposed for Buckhead Village.

I don't recall how many levels there were of underground parking. but it looked like at least 4 if not 5 (or more) below ground parking decks.

While the underground infrastructure (as well as a nearby lack of "lay-down" for construction materials) would have certainly contributed to the construction being longer than normal, having the developer also acting as the contractor for the project certainly hindered them being able to complete the project in time. I heard they were trying to self-perform some of the work as well rather than sub-contracting out the work; this likely would create more delays since they have less leverage to retain crews to finish the project versus other experienced contractors in the area.

If you scroll to the 1:00 mark on the time lapse it shows 2 levels of parking before it reaches the 10th Street retail level.

While just 2 levels of parking, the extent of underground prep makes the point I tried to make

"A Birmingham student housing developer and Atlanta-based Integral Group plan to add a major student housing development along Olympic Park Drive. Capstone Collegiate Communities filed a permit to rezone nearly 3.5 acres in the city of Atlanta to make way for a 400-unit multifamily project. Integral CEO Egbert Perry said the project will be for student housing and is a pad site connected to the current Centennial Place apartments.

...Perry said the planned student housing project will have 755 beds.

Is this different than Generation? Isn't that also a student housing project from Integral at Centennial Place? Though I think that one might be smaller...

I don't know specifically except Loudermilk and Regent Partners are developing the project. So it will most likely be a property Loudermilk already owns.

I was going to say, it looks awfully similar to the Charles. Looks like it will be a great addition no matter the location.

buckhead village is going to be a preeminent walkable nabe, even without the super accessibility to transit that the other half of buckhead/lenox have.
