There's been a lot I've regretted doing over the course of my life, but putting Daemon on my ignore list has got to rank up there with one of the most pleasing things. How people put up with his digital zoom shots that have low resolution no better than paint-by-numbers, I'll never know.

Nice work daemon! We've never seen any updates of East Village from these angles. Thanks for taking the time to try out some new photo locations

Especially when they are low resolution digital zoom paint-by-numbers photos of literally nothing.

So are you only part-time upgrading now? At Crescent, or Bow Valley College (or something of the sort)?

Your photos certainly have not improved. The one above smells like a polish sausage gone bad - though it does provide some entertainment value I suppose. I highly recommend you take me up on the suggestion of a photography class, and an investment in a real camera.

Thank god all that smoke is gone now, I forgot how bad it was. I'm looking forward to seeing some fresh new pics without the smoke.

If we can just fill in that section in the middle with a couple of towers, it would be quite the little skyline.

That and it would be nice to get more shots from those new angles.

Maybe this is better placed in the watercooler or airport thread, but:

Being that much of east Inglewood is within the Airport noise NEF 30+ zone which restricts redevelopment from increasing density, does anyone know how the 4 multifamily buildings at the NE corder of 17a St NE and Bow trail/17th Ave NE were approved? The 2 western-most appear to be completely within the restricted zone where the City says, regarding Inglewood:

Existing residential properties cannot be subdivided to create new residential lots.

The number of residential units on these properties cannot increase.

Anyone know? This is the approximate location of the 4 condos

I like those wide angle photos. It’d be nice to see another one of those but on a clear day. Great job on getting some photos from fresh new vantage points.

Revamped arts commons proposal, via the Calgary Herald:

“Our project also includes a residential tower on top of the theatre which achieves one big aim that I know the city shares which is downtown residential densification which has all kinds of incredible benefits in terms of animation,” he said.
That would be quite the location for a large residential tower!
