I think it will. Scott Block is beautiful and full with good traffic from Grey Owl, Fortune Block being redeveloped with a potential restoration & expansion of Winnipeg Hotel following, new Hyatt not too far away, something will have to happen with Earls in the not-too-distant future, Railside coming up on the other side of the tracks. Union Station parkade is likely 4-7 years away, however could be on the shorter side depending how fast Railside and Main Street development picks up.

Oh and P&M will be open

I know the following should be in the other thread, but whether it be next year, or 5 years, P&M WILL be open.

I guarantee it.

Fantastic!

It's gonna take me a while to get used to that new skyline though...

Oh my that looks awesome! Thank you for this,
It’s a bit taller than I thought it would be which is a nice surprise.

Incredible how much one tower can impact a skyline. That looks really slick how you drew it in! Hey Biff if you’re still bored at all give some other vantage points a shot

Seeing this makes me a bit sad that sky city didn’t pan out from an adding another tower to the skyline perspective

PS: how cool would it be if those white accents were the parts that lit up at night??

With all the nearby activity and the worth of the land, Likely something will arise on what was intended to be Skycity and hopefully with increasing land values, it will make sense to build something exceptionally tall for return on the investment.

Yes, such a shame that SkyCity never proceeded.

It's kind of strange that a 40 or 41-floor residential building would be so much taller than the 30-34 storey office buildings when 38-floor 55 Nassau is considerably shorter than they are. Is there some reason for this? I haven't been in an apartment at 55 Nassau since the 1970s but I don't remember them having low ceilings (although I was probably 4'8" at the time).

55 Nassau is not being built on top of a mall and 2 levels of commercial space, with several levels of penthouses and a rooftop terrace/bar.

I hope the new lighting in the square is temporary. I think I like it more without the light

300 Main will be 465’. 360 Main is 383’. That is an 82 ft difference. I tried to guestimate best I could. It is not exact, just my interpretation.
