I think the copper ceilings may be most visible at nighttime when the balconies are lit from the interior lights.

It'll be really cool to see a silvery orange reflection from below. Its triangular shape adds to the uniqueness of the building, deviating from the bland blue glass buildings in Yaletown.

Whenever I ride along Alder, I'm looking at the building, and it gives me a weird "pulled zoom" effect, where the street trees are coming at me, and Vancouver House appears to be shrinking in the distance. I've thought of trying to capture it, but crossing 12th while shooting video seems like a 'bad idea' to me. ;-)

Totally, that's what I felt too. Used to work in the neighbourhood and couldn't get myself to take a decent pic of downtown after trying to get closer from Broadway.

Last time I was in the area, I noticed that the metallic exterior is reflecting sunlight quite a bit. It could actually be slightly blinding when approaching from south if just the right angle. Might actually be pretty annoying for units directly facing it on south or west side.

I remember we had the same worry with Parq Vancouver as well and I wonder how it might be on a sunny day for One Pacific residents directly across from it?
