Until proven otherwise with a real deliverable in hand, Invest Atlanta may be investing in a corrupt kickback scheme - perhaps unknowing. Anything real needs money. Where's the funding?

Just to further clarify, 5 grand isn't funding. It's an inducement to obtain funding...no matter who's putting it up. Invest Atlanta and Blank may be fine but what this is all really about. Not taxpayer money because there's none. I guess we'll learn soon enough...

195 13th (Vireo) is about 3 stories shorter than Yoo right now. It's flying up.

13th St between Piedmont & Juniper is turning out a bit strange at the pedestrian level. Every building has a markedly different setback on the south side of that block and the north side is almost all parking decks end-to-end.

Parking decks or parking lots*. There are at least two instances of surface parking along the north side of 13th. Lots of residences along this street, but man it is not a very exciting street. Isn't there a cafe going into Piedmont House and a spa or something to Yoo? Should make it slightly more interesting...

Yeah it's some breakfast spot that turns into a bar I believe.

It was hard for me to tell when passing by. Yoo is 25 stories (and slightly downhill), while Vireo is 26 stories.

This is going to be a fun project to watch go up. I wish Hanover West Peacthree went vertical instead of horizontal. I think they'll regret it in the long run. Also makes me hopeful the funeral home parking lot will be developed soon, while the home remains intact.

Now that we have so many student residences, hoping we see some movement on the office proposals in Midtown to continue a balance in the area.

Agree on vertical vs not. Although turned out better than I thought.....BUT fuc$ Wish they would finish the damn thing and stop closing lanes on Spring and West Ptree !

Patiently waiting on 1105 Peachtree to move forward. That's the project I've been most excited about. Things seemed to have been going smoothly earlier this year, but now it's just....silence.

And Vireo still has 6 more stories to go. They're on the 20th floor now.
