Hazy (the smoke is back for round 3) and 24, feels like 28 at noon. Humidity is dropping throughout the day, should get up to about 27, though the smoke may keep it a little cooler than expected.

Still smoky and hazy in Moncton. This will likely knock a few degrees off our expected high today. It was supposed to be another 30C day in the city, but I don't think so any more......

Special weather statement for Moncton has ended. The smoke from BC has cleared. The temperature has since shot up several degrees to 28C, but I think we missed our chance at another 30C day........

30C with a humidex of 32 and beautiful sunshine.

Seems like Southern Quebec/Ontario is the only region that has not been affected by wildfires across Southern Canada.

Low of 18C this morning.

The warmspot was Montreal (Trudeau) at 30.3C.
Only station to be above 30C today.

I wondered why the smoke in NL was only mentioned here on SSP, until I found this article. The smoke is high altitude and not just from BC, but from California.

A perfect day in Moncton. 24C, sunny, perhaps a little hazy (maybe some more high altitude smoke) and no humidity to speak of.

I just came inside after snoozing in my gazebo for a couple of hours. I did a quick tour through my backyard before coming in.
