Monroe Apartments is an apartment complex of four 3 story buildings and one 5 story building on a big triangle lot in Milwaukie Central, right behind Milwaukie Marketplace. This project just started construction.

The Hillside Masterplan is in the planning phase which will be a complete redevelopment of the current Hillside neighborhood.

Additional news, during the pandemic, the city purchased the Advantis Credit Union building and is planning on relocating City Hall to that building in the coming years. This leaves open possibilities for reuse with the current historic city hall.
Along with all of this, there has been a number of new ADUs to go in throughout Milwaukie. The plan for Middle Housing is in the works. Milwaukie has been expanding its sidewalk network as well as its bicycle infrastructure.
