I agree. Not every other development in the surrounding area needs to be 40+ floors (the last thing we need is
another tabletop skyline...) but a collection of 30-35 floor towers around Icon would be ideal. Soho Italia is a good height to act as a complimentary piece for Icon the Dows Lake skyline.
Icon is absolutely tall for the area, and for Ottawa, which makes the upcoming 50/60+ floors at Bayview even more outstanding. It's pretty crazy to think about the added density and people we're going to see in the next 10 years on this O-Train corridor.
