You're right! It will be a long walk up to change FAA light bulbs.

The floor plans show what appear to be 2 elevator shafts. Will this entire building be served by only 2 elevators?

They'll be using jetpacks, the latest in luxury living. You can see the guy on top putting one on. But despite the height, there really aren't a lot of units in this building.

The amount of units is extremely low for its size. 2 elevators are fine. This tower is ultra-exclusive in the grand scheme of things.

There are two elevators that go all the way up to the top mechanical floors.

I think they are just confusing the tower with buildings that have multiple units on every floor.

The problem with two elevators is sometimes one goes down for maintenance, or someone is using one to move in/out, or whatever other reason it is out of service. So then you have one for an 80+ story building. At peak times that would suck, even if there's only a few people waiting for it.

(I live in a two elevator building with 17 floors)

But there are no "peak times". The tower portion only has a few units, and the buyers will have multiple homes.

I bet your 17 floor building has many multiples more units, and they're generally not one of many residences.

And there are no random moves in luxury buildings. That kind of stuff has to be scheduled. You can't take an elevator for extended personal use without prior approval.

The upper floors are much narrower than the lower floors.
That limited space does not appear to be engineered to fit an elevator.

the occupied space ends a little over 1100', which is probably on the lower third of these renderings.

The elevators aren't going up the full length of the building.
