Dual-tower project would bring Dream Hotel brand to Buckhead

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/news...oject-to-bring-dream-hotel-brand-to.html

Quote:
A planned dual-tower project could bring a new boutique hotel brand to an area just north of the Buckhead Village.

New York-based Dream Hotel Group announced Wednesday it plans to open a 200-key boutique hotel in 2021 on the site of a low-rise shopping center that contains popular Buckhead seafood restaurant The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill.

The project will also include 90 residences, a spa and wellness concept, five dining and nightlife venues, including a 17,000-square-foot rooftop pool bar and lounge. It will also have 80,000 square feet of office and retail space.

Atlanta-based Cartel Properties will develop the site. Atlanta-based architecture firm Cooper Carry is designing the project.

Buckhead keeps on shining! I used to live next door to this proposal and always wondered when the strip mall would be redeveloped. Looks to be a good addition to the neighborhood and thank goodness for the rooftop pools!

I thought that was supposed to be a Dream Hotel as well, and I doubt they'd want to start off with two in the same submarket.
