It's a good size, but not anywhere in the range of what many would be looking for. You have to remember that's the whole space before you factor in kitchen, staff area, washrooms, foyer, etc.

Is that where the tower crane is going,, a public street?

The developers pay for lane closures FYI. Plus, as we all know the cost of construction here is much higher than most other places – so even if staging on the street was "free" it'd just be a helping hand.

You won't be able to drive on Graham Avenue between Main Street and Fort Street for the next two years.
The city is closing the block-long stretch of street to help with the construction of the new high rise building going up at 300/330 Main Street.
The closure begins on Monday.
The two westbound lanes will be used as a delivery area for trucks bringing in construction material to the site while the two eastbound lanes will be restricted to Transit buses.
Pedestrians will be able to use only the southside sidewalk.

It was mentioned here a while back (I think maybe Drew) that that was the initial plan, but they changed it after.
Drew – are they going to build the whole tower before starting 330? Or somehow both at once?

I think it's just funny how they couldn't even get our hideous unpainted/rusted green/peeling black street light design right.
